Monday was a very exciting day at our house. I celebrated turnig 29 (Yikes! I'm getting old) and we had a fetal echocardiogram to check on Baby Lilly #2. We didn't get any great shots because once again this little baby had their hand right next to their face. A very comfy position apparently. I'm happy to report that my birthday this year was a million times better than last year  and Baby Lilly's heart looks great! But that's not what you want to know now is it. Nope, you want to know what our name list looks like...So far Matt has suggested Jelaine  and Lapchild (for traveling purposes) and Adelyn has suggested Adelyn, Susie, Martha (if it's a boy), and Baby Scruffa Muffin. Well, I can't say that I'm super excited to blog about this trip, but we blog about the good, the bad & the ugly around here, so here ya go... Last year Matt entered us it the NCAA's lottery for Final Four tickets. We were drawn and 4 tickets were delivered to our house a few weeks ago. Of course when they arrived we didn't think we'd actually be using them, but miracle of all miracles, UK beat Ohio St. and UNC and we were Houston bound!! Don't we look so happy.   Full of confidence that our team would win.   Eager for the game to begin. Oh how wrong we were. And while no actual tears were shed, we certainly did not stop to take a picture of our pouting faces. We are still proud of the Cats though and definitely planning to cheer them on again. In less than a week we will find out if Baby Lilly #2 is a boy or a girl. We are excited, anxious, nervous, and can hardly wait! As I'm sure you know, there are countless wives tales people use to predict a baby's gender. My doctor predicted a boy based on the baby's heart rate and Matt's prediciting a girl because "the Lord knows what he needs." When I was pregnant with Adelyn women would tell me I was having a boy because of the way I was "carrying" (even though we already knew she was a girl) and recently I saw a pee on the stick gender predictor kit at Target. One of the more "reliable" gender predictors someone told me about is the Chinese Calendar.  It's based on the mother's lunar age and there are two different calendars to use. Last week Adelyn & I went down to visit "the newlyweds". We watched Uncle Chris play baseball, had a little accident at Pottery Barn Kids, and erased everything Aunt Corrie had written on her dry erase board. It was lots of fun! I think they're going to let us come back...

A few weeks ago we met up with Gigi, Granddaddy, Aunt Darla, Uncle Rob, Louis, and Kinsley at the Strawberry Festival. It was a beautiful day & we had lots of fun!

Kentucky's not the only one busy "dancing" this week. Adelyn has had several exciting dance parties at her house lately. And what's on her play list you ask? High School Musical of course!  Last year Adelyn had some help filling out a tournament bracket based on whose mascot she liked better. She did surprisingly well and picked several upsets. Matt & I were pretty excited that this year she would actually have an opinion and it went really well... Matt: Ok, Adelyn who do you want to win Ohio St. or UT-San Antonio? Adelyn: KENTUCKY!
