Lunch Time

On Sunday Adelyn got to go out to lunch with Granddaddy and learn how to eat with chopsticks. She looks like a natural to me!

RIP

Today we said goodbye to a faithful member of our family...our 1998 Nissian Maxima with 223,000 miles, a broken A/C, and numerous other problems that cost more to fix than the car is worth. I do have a great affection for this car. It is after all the first car I paid for and it carried me many miles to Kissimmee, Birmingham, Lexington and back again. I'll never forget the time the doors were iced shut, I realized I had a purple spoiler light, & driving to FL with Dakota in tow. Maxima, you've been a great car. I wish you well at your new home! We are now enjoying extra cash in our bank account thanks to you and can say that we both drive cars made in this decade!

She usually sleeps anywhere from 6 - 8 hrs. at night. It is so wonderful! She is also full of smiles and funny faces. Maybe once we find our camera I'll be able to take some pictures to show you... So our trip to KY...I think it will be best to just hit the highlights and what we'll call the "Snafus" of our trip. ~ Spending time with family & friends & introducing them to Adelyn . ~ Celebrating Christmas with Matt's family. ~ Matt got to go to a UK game. ~ Adelyn slept for 10 hrs. one night at Chris ...
